Key Responsibilities :

- To ensure high quality of teaching & learning in various classrooms across the country Including effective usage of LMS/TLP and other relevant tools.

- To be responsible for the quality and flawless execution of teaching & learning material, session planning, classroom pedagogy etc.

- To work closely with Chief Learning Officer & Learning Studio team in the areas of faculty delivery and quality.

- To work closely with faculties on research, PhD & paper presentations at seminars.

- To work closely with the content development team for ToCs, Syllabus, SLM's and other artifacts.

- To support the sales team with seminars for student acquisition.

- Strong industry network to help identify employment opportunities in a distributed model - to match the location of our campuses across the country.

- Work closely with industry & the Head -SSA to help devise a soft skills and aptitude road map. In addition, help execute the same.

- Design an Annual Calendar of Industry interface through Guest lectures, projects & assignments and implement the same, with clear and measurable learning outcomes for each. Further to monitor and track the same, along with establishing metrics to ascertain the progress of each impact.

Academic Quality Assurance can be divided into:

- Preparatory activities - Whenever a program is introduced at the university, the Director-Academics will have to ensure BOS (Preparation & Approval); Syllabus & course matrix; Content on LMS.

- Faculty related: Recruitment (In an Optimized Manner); training & Development; Performance Appraisal; Rewards & Recognition including IDP, PhD, workshops, research papers etc., and effective usage of tools like TOC, LMS & TLP.

- Students related: Orientation & Induction; faculty feedback; performance, tests & exams; (employment preparedness)

Industry Related:

- Help academic heads & corporate relation plan and monitor high quality guest lectures, workshops, seminars, projects, internship and final placement

- To ensure each activity has pre agreed outcomes that are measure post the event.

- University related: Build strong working relationships with HOD's, Dean's & Registrars such that day-to-day academics proceeds smoothly; also to build a reservoir of goodwill in case of any disruption.

Technical Competencies:

- Relevant experience in teaching as well as guiding a team of teachers.

- Should have worked in leadership roles in a learning environment preferably at a university

- Experience in formulation of curriculum & course matrix

- Understanding of UGC/AICTE norms & willingness to drive industry - academia collaboration.

- Understanding of assessment impact metrics, rubrics, evaluation framework.

- Using technology to generate critical data, analytics and visual data presentation.

Qualification: B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D (Preferably in Computer Science)
