About the Company :

iNurture is a company that is uniquely positioned in the Education space in India. It partners with universities to create and conduct UG and PG courses on their campuses powered by content that is industry endorsed using contemporary pedagogue, with trained faculty who are subject matter experts, usually with industry experience on the subjects that they are teaching.

The company has seen three rounds of venture capital funding via Gujarat Ventures Limited, Ascent Capital and the last round via investor, Bertelsmann.

With a core business model that has been proven, the company is now poised to scale both its classroom presence across locations, extend its expertise into blended and online distance education and also into University services, all as part of a phased expansion. iNurture is today managing around 150 classrooms across its partners which is expected to reach 500 in next 3 yrs.

JD for CIO :

- Has demonstrated skill and experience in on boarding technology and systems integrations in a medium size / scale up stage organization in the Education, BPO sectors on either client or vendor side.

- Should be proficient working with vendor to implement & operate technology stacks, with aid of internal project & operations

- The company at this stage does not envisage creating large product and engineering teams in-house as a core capability and a potential incumbent needs to appreciate this .

The key technology stacks that the incumbent will need to oversee are :

- ERP & campus management

- CMS and LMS for Elearning and Delivery

- CRM incl telephony for Customer Acquisition and Customer care applications

- Cloud Infrastructure including remote locations wiring on blessed networks.

- IT infrastructure to enable remote classrooms via appropriate IP technology.

- Content DRM

- Mobile Device management

The incumbent will have a key role on the following areas of technology :

- Accumulation of the requirements from the user departments - which would include existing requirements as well as working with the Management in estimating the requirements of future business lines.

- Capcitization of the requirement so that we are configured to scale for at least the next 3 to 5 years.

- Calling for RFP's from a panel of the best in class vendors in the space.

- Helping Management to evaluate the best fit vendors and initiate commercial discussions.

- Close commercial discussions and contracts in due consultation with management

- Work on devising, implementing project plans to onboard the new technology stacks as per plans with due consideration to BCP planning for the running business.

- Once implemented, be responsible for the day to day operations of this stack as well as keeping an eye on enhancements and improvements that business requirements may indicate.

- This is expected to be a lean operation with the position starting off as an IC ( Individual Contributor ) role and then adding on a small, need based team for project management and implementation and then for the running operations in a staggered manner.

- This person will ultimately have a key role to play in the overall technology road map of the company - be it for desktop management to cloud based deployments covering partners and vendors and also be responsible for all tech vendor management.

- Must be familiar with Cloud deployments and Lean Engineering principles including open source technologies that can be used at later stages of evolution.

- Ideal Candidate will be person with an Engineering Background from a Premier Engineering institution with at least 10 years of experience in areas relevant to the sector and skills needed to succeed in the position.
