International SOS - Deputy Manager - Human Resources (5-10 yrs)

This position is responsible for HR and HRBP function within the company and will report to the Director - HR.

The position will be responsible for providing support/ assistance to the Human Resources Director in initiating, development and implementation of HR function, processes and practices in line with the corporate Human Resources direction and with the business.

Key Responsibilities :


Specific Responsibilities :

- To recruit and facilitate retention of high caliber staff with the right skills for the job, through effective marketing of job opportunities, orientation programs and through promoting the Company as an employer of choice within the community.

- To get involved directly in the recruitment function by ensuring suitable and innovative methods for recruiting, screening, selecting and hiring staff that meets the internal customer's need.

- To collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders in other functions to facilitate achieving business objectives and support the Human Resources Director in addressing organizational issues.

- Maintain a positive employee relations environment by implementing regular staff welfare/ recreation programs and through regular communication and engagement with staff.

- Maintain and update required HR MIS to facilitate necessary action and support the Human Resources Director in timely reporting and submission of HR reports.

- Develop/ implement and maintain employee policies and practices which support high standards, professionalism and which are aligned both with local employment legislation and with the values of the corporation.

- Contribute to the Company's profitability by adhering to the HR department's operating budget.

- Manage assigned statutory compliance's.

- Manage employee benefits and extend support to staff for easy facilitation.

Other Duties :

- To work within and adhere to all International SOS policies and procedures.

- To own and manage specific member programs assigned.

- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager and other senior management members.

Required Skills and Knowledge :

- Good organizational and administrative skills;

- Creative & out of the box thinking;

- Report writing skills;

- Ability to interact effectively and demonstrate appropriate business conduct and ethical principles;

- Interact effectively with management and customers at all levels and with different backgrounds and perspectives;

- Adapt his/her position, decision, and/or strategy based on changing information and/or circumstances.

- Able to work in a calm, logical and professional manner at all times;

- Skills / Knowledge: IT literate and proficient in the use of contemporary computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
