Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Manage sugar sales and marketing activities within the region (GCC Market and East Africa)
- Develop new customer relationship and sales opportunities in the region for sugar sales to Industrial clients, B2B channels and local importers.
- Able to leverage on existing relationships with both customers and suppliers in the area
- Maintain a detailed and current knowledge of customer requirements, competitor activity, market activity, customer and supplier performance
- Resolve any issues and problems of your clients and act as a link between client/supplier and the internal teams.
- Assisting senior traders with respect to the customer requirements, sugar sourcing and maintaining the relationship with customers
- Required to be travel extensively in the region to meet customers, understanding their requirements and growing sugar sales in the Region
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience on handling sales in the FMCG/Food Industry/Beverages/Agriculture Commodities in the GCC/East Africa region
- Strong, pre-existing network of connections within Middle East and East African markets
- Demonstrate strong judgement, business acumen and self-motivation to grow a dynamic business
- Possess good interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
- Preferable to have understanding of the sugar commodities market and sales
