Category Manager - Skin & Hair Brand - Online/Internet (3-8 yrs)
PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE: Support the growth of the Group's new Skin & Hair Brand by managing strategic and business development projects across regions, markets and channels. Lead all strategy projects globally, oversee implementation of specific strategic initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- International Business Development
- Liase with international brands
- Negotiate terms for India entry
- Decide on commercials
- Responsible for sourcing International skincare and hair care brands
- Responsible for imports and distribution
- Responsible for licensing and legal documentation
- Support execution of business development initiatives to achieve markets- growth objectives
- Discover new global brands (established/ niche) to launch in the Indian market, work on the commercial closure, legalities, etc
- Support new market launches and new channel development of Private label products : develop business plans, financial model, and launch strategy, oversee key activities to facilitate successful execution
- Maintain select international-led tools (Retail Operations Manual, New Market Launch Toolkit, Brand Presentation); lead creation of new tools as needed
- Monitor competitive and market trends and identify global best practices; share insights with relevant teams
- Define and create strategy for big global business opportunities (e.g., strategic retailers, distribution channels, etc.). Partner with relevant teams to support execution
