- Develop risk- based annual audit plans detailing the scope, nature and timing of audit activities - Design internal audit procedures and work programs - Conduct internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures - Identify key areas of risk within the bank's Group Functions and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks - Familiarity / Strong Experience with audits around the following sub functions: - Finance: Finance, Taxation, Capital Adequacy/Planning, Budgeting, Expensing vs Capitalisations, Pricing (including FTP- s), GL Governance, NPA Provisioning, Divergence Estimations, PSL Computation (Shortfall / Excess), Regulatory Returns to RBI, GST etc. - Market Risk & ALCO: Strong Experience with audits around the following activities / sub activities including (at the minimum): - Behavioural Studies, Value/ Earnings at Risk, - Intra Day Risk Management Methodology including compliance with Limit Setting & Management Framework - Duration Gap Analysis at bank level - Calculation of Regulatory VaR and Model Measures - ALCO: Oversight & Governance - MCLR / Rate Setting - Credit Risk: - Credit Risk Governance - Early Warning Signals and Credit Risk Models - Portfolio Analytics and Limits Management as per RBI Guidelines - RAS (Risk Appetite Statement) - Stressed Sectors Analysis and Governance - Country Risk Management and Industry Research - Operational Risk: Audits around the following areas including review of Thematic Issues tested by Operational Risk team (SLOD Function), Issue, Risk and Event Logging Management, Review of: - NPAP (New Products Approval and Sign off Process), - Monthly Risk Dashboards and KRI review, - RCSA's Oversight - Insurance Policies, Loss Data Analysis, Operational Risk Dashboards - ICAAP: - Review of CRAR computation including assumptions and data inputs as per RBI guidelines and BASEL Framework with respect to Pillar 1 Risks (Credit, Market & Operational Risks) - Review of Identification and Computation of Pillar 2 Risks - Test and Audit the Stress Testing Framework including Contingency Liquidity Plan - Test and Audit the methodology / assumptions for Capital Aggregation and Planning Process including the capital assessment process based on nature, scope, scale, and complexity of the bank's activities - Discuss audit findings, issue closures and recommendations with line managers and report significant issues to senior management. - Prepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan. - Monitor the timely implementation of the management actions recommended in the audit reports - Provide the Audit Committee of the Board and the senior management with an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls in the bank An Ideal Candidate should possess: - Relevant experience in Banking Industry or Big 4 of conducting Internal Audit of Group Functions including Finance and Risk Functions (Credit, Liquidity/ Market Risk & Operational Risk) with a strong analytical skills including proficiency in MS Office tools including MS excel
