Product Lead InterMiles is seeking a technical product lead to work with Product Development and Engineering teams within InterMiles to manage the development & sustenance of an online non-air platform (to sell Hotels, packages, transfers and other online products) to drive value to its loyal customers for their Accommodation and Travel needs KPIs: - Work with internal and external stakeholders to generate, refine & manage product backlog by analyzing business requirements - Responsible for timely delivery of product features and enhancements as per product backlog - Analyze and Derive data driven product enhancement insights by continuous monitoring of analytics dashboards around online customer behavior and critical workflow performance Job Description: - Team member within Product Development & Engineering team managing the Online Travel Agency & Meta search platform, white-labeled platforms and other future web based platforms through the implementation of effective product strategies. - Co-ordinate day to day activities with outsourced Tech and web-operation teams to develop highly competitive products with great user experience. - Establishing and nurturing relationship with external technology/product partners. - Drive and Optimize the product vision supported by internal and external analysis, in conjunction with Business roadmap - Building product features, driving product to market which includes working with marketing, sales, business development, finance teams, and managing product delivery. - Work closely with all teams involved in building and shipping the product including design, engineering, QA, marketing, finance and Internal and external Tech teams. Education & Skill Set: - B.E./B.Tech a must; - Minimum 5-7 years of work experience with, preferably 2+ years of experience in B2C product management for Travel and E-commerce domain portal - Proficient in Requirement Gathering & Business Analysis and well versed in Project and Process documentation - User Acceptance Testing - Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development lifecycle, with hands-on experience in all the Agile Sprint activities - Experience in development or managing Web technologies (.Net, JAVA) and system integration (SOAP, REST, JSON) - Ability to perform UAT for critical end-to-end flows working hand in hand with internal and external Product and Tech teams to deliver excellent experience - Great communication and presentation skills - Great organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience working with simple and intuitive user interfaces on web and mobile - ability to create examples through wire frames and mock ups using various tools is a big plus - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment. - Good project/product management skills and the ability to work with tight deadlines - Must have excellent conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills - Ability to suggest user journey optimizations by analyzing the design and/or analyzing data patterns across critical workflows Good to Have: - Technical architecture understanding of web-scale business in daily interaction with developers and QA - Knowledge of Merchant Payment Acquisition and Payment Gateways - Understanding of Hotels supplier ecosystem - Having worked on end to end delivery of web / marketplace product is highly desired - Prior software development experience with understanding of development life cycle, or equivalent education in Computer Science is a big plus - Worked closely with technology team in agile environment to launch products on Android/iOS and web platforms
