About the role:
- Managing relationship of cobrand partners such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, American Express, IndusInd Bank along with any new cobrand launched in India or overseas.
- Prepare the appropriate pitch for the key prospects and guide discussions through the BD funnel. Develop business cases, negotiate contracts & create commercial models.
- Pursue & realize key metric driven goals from new and existing partners like co-brand card acquisitions, co-brand card spends & overall revenue targets.
What you'll do:
- Building key relationships, establishing trust, pursuing & realizing key category goals from existing partners.
- Documenting business cases, negotiate contracts & commercial understanding with partners to meet company objectives
- Drive the expected relationship value for the partners
- Enhance relationship sizes through consistent interventions & leveraging opportunities, building member awareness, analysis and innovation of campaigns and promotions
- Develop and implement long-term and short-term partner strategy to engage partners and provide a direction to the relationship
- Build and maintain a strong knowledge of the Industry, Partner business & products as well as InterMiles contract with the partner for the right delivery
- Support budgeting activities by forecasting gross billings for managed partnerships and plan for contingencies
- Develop integrated/joint marketing & campaign calendar for the year with managed partners and ensure timely execution for key interventions, promotions & events
- Manage reliability and consistency of service delivery & supervise day-to-day operations (timely file uploads/invoicing /service query and resolutions)
- Own the category targets and build category development plans as well as contingency plans for partner attrition (if expected)
- Review and revise commercials during partner contract renewals and proactively prevent attrition. Lead and drive closure for assigned projects
- Drive and manage projects or MIS responsibilities as assigned for new and existing partners (either cross-functional or within department)
Must-haves: (min qualification, experience, skillset required) :
- Qualification & Education: MBA from Top Tier B-Schools (IIM-A,B,C,L,K,I, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, FMS, MDI, NMIMS, JBIMS)
- 2-5 years of experience in active client servicing / business development roles and / or consultative sales or service delivery roles.
- Experience in managing sales / financial services (cards business preferred) / product and portfolio management/ managing card products of banks
- Experience in driving high-value partnerships and customer value propositions
