This position will play a key role in:

a) Timely & effective implementation of the Risk framework

b) Managing the compliance (Statutory & Regulatory) & ethics framework.

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Risk Management

- Ensuring that the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations and aligned with the strategic imperatives of the organization & shareholders.

- Design framework aligned to COSO, ISO 31000 guidelines & ISO 27001

- Conducting workshops with leadership team & facilitate identification of Enterprise risks, its KPIs, risk champions. Etc. i.e. implementing an Enterprise Risk Management framework

- Finalization of audit plan basis discussion with the Audit team

- Convenes monthly meetings (compliance committee etc.)

- Conducts periodic Risk and Control refresher i.e. analysing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business.

- Collaborate with Functional Heads to implement an effective Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) within the Functions to ensure first line of defence is created at the Functional level to meet external, internal and regulatory requirements.

- Managing the risks framework within the business units with respective functions through an online self-assessment tool

- Preparing status updates on progress of annual plan

- Implementing management dashboarding, reporting & data analytics tool

- Benchmarking and study of best practices, trends & emerging issues across industries.

- Assist in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives.

b) Compliance (Statutory & Regulatory) and Ethics framework

i. Compliance (Statutory and Regulatory)

- Managing the compliance framework within the business units with respective functions through an online self-assessment tool

- Facilitating the submission of quarterly risk & compliance certification to the board

- Keeping abreast of all the relevant regulatory compliances specifically knowledge around extra territorial laws

ii. Ethics

- Developing & implementing the policies & training framework around Code of Conduct, Anti bribery & corruption etc., for employees & third parties

- Conducting investigations (as & when required)

- Updating the ethics policies for any changes

People Management

- Drive performance management for self.

- Conduct workshops and technical training sessions for stakeholders.

- Contribute to the learning & development agenda.
