Insurance Consulting Professional

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Experienced Insurance professional with significant experience in Insurance consulting and sound understanding of domain

- Advise Insurance Carriers on a range of issues around Sales, Underwriting, Policy, Billing, Claims, Cost Reduction, Operating model design, business process optimization

- Partner with global deal teams in selling, and solution development of client deals by providing subject matter expertise

- Help shape thought capital around current and emerging Insurance topics and contribute to development of Accenture POV.

- Support practice development through staffing, capability development and knowledge management, etc.

- Build strong relationships with global Accenture Insurance Client Account teams, and further develop existing relationships based on mutual benefit and synergies

- Supports Insurance consulting engagements in an offshore/onshore model

- Engage in activities like process mapping, gap analysis etc.

- Design business architecture/ supervising business architecture implementation activities

- Implementation of technology within a risk area, including the implementation of MIS solutions.

- Supervising business diagnosis and planning activities

- Supervising business architecture and process design activities

- Defining testing and implementation activities for architectures, capabilities and processes

- Preparing the client for deployment (communications, training)

Experience:

- Should have 4-5 years of work experience in consulting firms like IBM, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Big 4 or in the insurance industry

- Exposure to Policy Admin systems (like Duck Creek or Guidewire), Claims, Billing, RMIS & other insurance systems

- Practical experience around the NEW (Robotics, AI, Zero Based Design) within the insurance space (preferred)

- Good functional knowledge of core insurance functions:

- P&C Insurance: (Personal or Commercial Lines) - Distribution, New Business and Underwriting, Policy Services, Billing, Claims

- Broking/ Reinsurance

- Business Analysis experience across insurance value chain
