Job Description - DSA Sales Trading coverage

Job role and responsibilities -

- Assist buy side institutional investors to achieve best execution through comprehensive knowledge of various execution trading strategies, FIX Protocol, Electronic Trading workflows

- Provide clients with proactive intraday trading analysis based on chosen algo strategy along with compiling periodic summary on relevant market news

- Monitor & manage day orders during market hours while handling events based on the dynamic market situations, order instructions and internal systems checks

- Use qualitative and quantitative methodologies to track order performance & remediate problems faced by buy-side traders in achieving best execution goals. Deliver bespoke solutions for such goals by innovatively synergizing systems within existing constraints.

- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain complex technical concepts and industry regulations to a wide range of foreign & local asset managers, hedge funds and other buy-side firms of varying sizes & market expertise

- Prepare Transaction Cost Analysis to recommend advanced execution strategies suitable for client's unique requirements

- Apply business acumen to identify and resolve work-flow process inefficiencies that improve service quality & ensure efficient order management, leading to a better trading experience for the client

- Effectively prioritize and manage heavy workload in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Devise excel models and upgrade internal systems to automate several daily, complex & laborious tasks critical to client servicing & trade analysis.

Required Experience -

- Candidate must have 2-3 years of experience as a dealer on an institutional trading desk

- Understanding of FIX protocol and execution algos is preferred

- Experience in communicating with clients directly/independently is preferred

Educational experience -

- Graduate or Post Graduate from a recognized university

- Fluency in English, Hindi is a must. Fluency in Gujarati is preferred
