Job Description:

- To collate and analyze industry data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Utilize statistical analysis, trend analysis, and comparative analysis techniques as appropriate.

- To produce high-quality research reports covering company profiles, financial analysis, industry trends, investment thesis, and valuation recommendations. Preparing the forensic report along with the traditional report.

- Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends and Continuously update the research methodologies, expansion of coverage universe, and enhance your analytical capabilities to remain competitive.

- To explore relationships between different variables within the industry data using correlation analysis, regression analysis, or data visualization techniques. Identify patterns, dependencies, and causal relationships to understand the industry dynamics.

- To arrange and participate in one-on-one or group meetings with company management to gain insights into their business operations, strategy, and future plans.

- To conduct on-site visits to company facilities or plants to gather firsthand information about operations, production processes, and overall business dynamics.

- To organize and participate in road shows where company executives present their business strategies and financial performance to institutional investors.

- Work closely with institutional clients, understanding their investment goals, risk tolerance, and preferences. Present research findings, investment ideas, and updates during client meetings.

- To provide periodic performance reports to clients, highlighting the value added by research insights and the impact on investment outcomes.

Skills Required:

- Proficiency in using financial information databases, such as Bloomberg, Capital Market.

- Excellent financial modelling and report writing skills with experience in writing ICRs

- Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial statements, ratios and valuation techniques, including DCF, LBO, SOTP, comparable valuation, etc

- Creation of comprehensive equity research reports covering company profiles, financial analysis, industry trends, investment recommendations, and risk assessments.

- Experience in conducting management calls, expert interviews and in-depth secondary research.

- Experience in conducting road show, management meeting and plant visit

Education Qualifications:

- CA or CFA or MBA - Finance (MUST)

- Good relationship management, strong communication and presentation skills
