Closely analyze small groups of stocks in order to provide insightful investment ideas and recommendations to the firm's sales force and traders, directly to institutional investors and (increasingly) to the general investing public. 4. Use computer programs and tools including Word, Excel, Bloomberg, the Internet, and Reuters 5. Adapt one's analysis to specified formats, templates, styles and deadlines when creating reports 6. Maintain a large list of independent sources/contacts for information 7. Respond to breaking news developments on companies within one's sector
