Head of Insights Sales Business - Syndicated Research - Fintech/ Data Driven/ Research Firm
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and training to achieve sales goals.
- Set performance targets, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet or exceed targets.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored insights solutions.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
3. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and potential growth opportunities.
- Utilize insights from market research to refine sales strategies and improve overall business performance.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of client projects and delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
5. Reporting and Forecasting:
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and projections to support business planning and resource allocation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the insights, analytics, or data services industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in using data to drive decision-making.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities.
- Results-oriented and driven to succeed in a competitive market.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in insights and data analytics is a plus.
