Our vision is to reduce the cost of accessing money for everyone. This will help fuel economic growth in a small way. Our mission is to organize the flow of money to do this.

The company has created a payments platform that helps in doing this. This platform has a unique ability to add intelligence to traditional payment channels helping businesses reduce cost and enhance sales. Four kinds of businesses get attracted to use these channels.

a) Merchants who want insights into customer payments for better control and reduced payment back-office operations.

b) Brands who want to drive preference for their products through lower cost and better controlled promotions at these merchants.

c) Financial service providers such as payment entities, wallets, employee benefit cards, who want to drive preference for their payment instrument.

d) Banks and lenders who want to get access to customers at these merchants to offer them loans at a lower risk and cost than other channels.

Innoviti is addressing these customers through two key propositions - a) uniPAY Next - a set of consumer payment and lending services and b) smelending.com - a set of short-term working capital services for small businesses.

Over the past two years the company has invested heavily in building up the platform. It is now ready to disrupt the business by changing the way payments platforms add value and attract and onboard customers. It would do this by:

a) Making the platform open to onboard customers easily,

b) Changing distribution models to reach 100X customers, and

c) Allowing more intelligence to the channels.

To drive this roadmap the company is looking for talent who are ready to do what no payments platform has done before and what every payment platform will do thereafter.

Job Designation: Vice President, Business Development

Location: Mumbai / Bangalore

Reporting to: Chief Business Officer

Responsibilities:

- Drive aggressive sales growth in a high technology B2B payments market through a consultative selling approach.

Duties:

- Build and drive a sales management process for high complexity technology B2B sales.

- Create a team, coach them and drive them to follow the sales management process in their day to day activities.

- Drive the sales team to achieve the sales targets; establish annual sales quotas for regions and territories; review and analyze sales performances against quotes and plans

- Assist with forecasts of expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products

- Understand competition strengths and weaknesses and constantly refine the sales strategy to help the sales team stay ahead.

- Manage existing customer relationships to increase volume of business through value addition.

- Manage internal stake holders to provide optimum customer service.

- Constantly provide feedback to Business Head and other stakeholders on emerging customer and market trends to ensure competitive positioning.

- Identify and develop new customers, channels and partnerships to drive sales growth

- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners; Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product.

Skills and Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MBA from reputed tier 1 college only

- B2B sales experience in high complexity technology sales to CxO level people in organizations.

- Should have demonstrated capability of managing sales in an environment where the goal post is constantly moving due to new products and trends emerging.

- Should have demonstrated ability of being able to rally the team along in uncertain environments.

- At least 15 years of experience in sales with at least 5 years of experience in managing national sales team of at least 30 people remotely.

- Experience in consultative selling.

- Strong in sales process management. Formal training in sales methodologies would be a plus.

- Track record of building market share in a highly competitive environment.

- Track record of creating and growing relationships with top management in large organizations would be critical.

Personality:

Ideal candidate for this role would enjoy winning in competitive situations, specifically poaching existing clients from competitors. Strong internal drive to perform and exceed targets is a must. Ease in dealing with high levels of uncertainty is essential. Should be able to connect and inspire trust with senior level stakeholders in customer organizations.
