Our business involves developing products that use technology to remove friction in a) the supply of money (credit) and b) movement of money. Solving these tough problems in sustainable ways that are scalable and profitable is a tough challenge!

To address these problems, we have built some remarkable products such as uniPAY and smelending.com that today process more than Rs 10,000 Cr. of transactions annually. Leading customers such as Reliance Retail, Lifestyle, Yatra, Indigo, Inox, Tanishq, BPCL, WalMart are using these products. What makes us feel proud is how cleverly we have used technology to make short-term credit available to more than 24,000 small businesses. Without technology, the challenges in supplying credit to this segment was not profitable for lenders and these businesses were unable to grow.

Job Designation: QA Manager

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 10+ Yrs.

- Hands on test development experience in one or more of following languages - Java, Python or C/C++

- Good understanding of distributed systems including web services

- Strong hands on with DB skills; MySQL will be a plus

- Hands on with shell or perl scripting and experience building tools and utilities

- Proven work experience with automated testing, black box testing, regression testing, performance testing, UI automation testing (Selenium), scalability testing etc.

- Experience preferably in product companies with some amount of managerial role experience

- Effective spoken and written articulation skills

- Ability to co-ordinate across cross-functional teams

- Payments domain experience is a plus

Roles and responsibilities:

- Independently utilize innovative test methodologies to develop test plans and test strategies

- Create and enhance automation frameworks and test tools at platform level

- Work efficiently in a multi-project agile environment

- Mentor team and conduct effective test reviews and test documents

- Mentor team to develop specialized testing tools for use in testing our platform

- Mentor and guide team for all testing activities

- Take independent decision with minimal supervision

- Handle stress and perform under demanding environment

- Prepare report/wiki and escalate as appropriate
