Company Information:

- Innoviti's vision is to organize the flow of payments through every stage of a supply chain. Organizing payments will reduce the cost of managing money for a business. The information created will help businesses use payment channels in new ways to enhance sales.

- Innoviti's payments vision takes shape in the form of a three-fold business strategy - (a) solutions that use payment channels to supply money to a buyer when he is short of cash, (b) solutions that move money from a buyer to a seller and (c) solutions that while moving money, also move payment information digitally and automatically.

- A common theme across the solutions is one of experience delivery. Innoviti believes that features can be copied but not experiences. Experience delivery is complex since it requires visualizing needs that are not articulated by the customer. However once delivered they create long-lasting value that helps in building a profitable relationship. Using technology to deliver these experiences has been Innoviti's differentiator.

- Innoviti started its payments business in 2008 and quickly established itself as a pioneer in using technology to solve difficult problems in the payments space. Over the 10 year journey the company has many firsts to its credit, such as: (a) creating a multi-bank EMI product to originate loans from non-traditional points, (b) launching the country's first EMI on debit cards, (c) designing an adaptive lookahead technology that dynamically determines the fastest and most reliable acquirer to send a payment transaction to, (d) India's first UPI@POS etc. The company today processes over 3B$ of payments annually, including about 100M$ of credit from over 50,000 POS machines across 700 cities.

- In 2015 Innoviti started its B2B payments business. The business strategy here is the same, however applied to commercial transactions happening between businesses. This business today processes over 100M$ worth of transactions annually for over 30,000 small businesses.

- The company's plans ahead are to scale up its B2C and B2B businesses through a unique industry-focused use-case approach. Innoviti believes that each industry has unique payment use cases. Solving for these use cases with an experience centric approach can deliver tremendous value. Innoviti's deep-technology platform has been designed in a manner that allows for easy building of these experiences over a robust core. The core supports various forms of B2C and B2B payment technologies and through various online and offline channels. The experience delivery layer can flexibly stitch together multiple of these to address use-cases in a unique manner.

Job Designation: Payment Consultant

Location: Mumbai / Hyderabad / Chennai

Educational Qualifications/criteria:

- Any Graduate from tier 1/2 college

- Atleast 3 years of experience in B2B sales - Merchant acquisitions / Merchant sales / Corporate sales

- Should be a dynamic, go-getter with ability to take away accounts from competition

- Should be strongly process oriented with great relationship management skills

- Should enjoy travelling

Key Responsibilities:

- Acquire new customers

- Sell new products to new/existing markets

Job Description:

- Following the sales process to acquire new merchants

- Carrying out calls, doing presentations to customers, carrying out product demos, explaining product benefits

- Engaging a customer in a pilot of the product

- Commercial negotiation and contract closure

- Capturing meeting minutes and sending them to customer and Sales Head internally

- Ensuring prompt reporting of sales progress, daily, weekly sales sheet

- Maintaining relationships with customers to ensure we understand their problems and reassure them of constant support.

- Be available for the customer whenever required

- Follow the sales philosophy of the organization

- Managing collections

- Managing active database of all existing customers, prospects

- Interfacing with Relationship Management to ensure that feedback received from customers is provided to them to drive business

- Interfacing with Marketing to ensure that market segmentation, prospect list, strategies, marketing material, promotion plans are discussed and support is taken to drive the numbers

- Interfacing with Project Management team to ensure that once sales is closed projects are driven to conclusion to ensure a satisfied customer

Personality:

The ideal person for this role would be someone who loves the challenge of an entrepreneurial environment and is able to deal with complexity and rapid change. Needless to mention, the person would be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity. He/She would have a track record of delivering results consistently in uncertain environments. Excellent communication skills with an ability to manage crucial conversations with very senior external stakeholders.
