Designation: Manager - Trainer Cashier

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Senior Manager - L&D

Objective:

This position is primarily accountable to ensure the Store Operations team have the required operational and soft skills to effectively perform their roles. The position will partner closely with operational and HR stakeholders.

Skills and qualifications:

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Experience of delivering retail staff training

- Must be familiar with English, Hindi and minimum one more regional language

- Must be willing to travel up to 70%

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Management or a related field with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in Retail operations

- Organize and conduct trainings in retail store offices across India

- Trainings to be conducted in shifts to ensure 100% coverage of cashiers in each store

- Monitor the cashier at work as a part of the training program and monitor every step of the process with the objective of increasing business through improved training processes

- Train the company field support people also so that they can train the cashier every time they visit the stores

- Role play as a customer to validate understanding to complete the training for every cashier

- Create physical training material to be placed on cashier counters

- Always ensure the most updated application and process details are available, displayed and used for the training

- Share training material with the Store operations teams

- Collect feedback during and post the training programs to develop the content of the training and improve the training process further

- Roll out and adherence of the training calendar as per the plan

- Conduct evaluations of cashiers to assess understanding of the process

- Monitor, track and provide training reports to the relevant stakeholders

- Submit required reports and MIS as per defined timelines

- Stay updated with new application versions and prepare the documents accordingly

Salary offered - min 10 LPA
