Innoviti- platform provides businesses with services they can use to monetize this intelligence. They can drive efficiencies in reconciliation, cash management and interest costs. Role and responsibilities : - The person will be responsible for creating and driving a financial strategy that can unleash Innoviti's true potential in the market. This while protecting the impeccable standards of governance the company is known for in the industry. - This role is the vehicle that will convert Innoviti's platform strategy to financial success through frameworks and initiatives that allow unfettered growth on a foundation of exemplary financial metrics and governance. - The person would need to understand the various financial levers of Innoviti's SAAS business model like the back of their hand. How each lever affects growth, time, cost and competitive position. - The person should be obsessed with tracking performance through data and proving what is working and what isn- t. The person will be regularly collaborating with CEO, CBO, CRO, Board Members and various function heads for achieving the above objectives. Strategy, Planning and Management : - Drive annual business plan preparation with business leaders and its approval with the Board. - Constantly assess and evaluate financial performance of organization. Provide insights and recommendations for short and long-term growth of organization. - Financial intelligence- be the expert on the financial metrics that drive business. - Identify, acquire and implement systems and software to automate processes, increase efficiency and drive data-based decision making across the organization. - Communicate, engage and interact with Board of Directors and senior leadership team to identify, review and drive initiatives. - Recruit, interview and hire finance, accounting and payroll staff as required Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting : - Manage financial planning and analysis department. Prepare and present weekly and monthly financial reports. Drive automation for all financial information to be available in real-time anywhere. - Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software. - Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance and financial procedures. - Work with Human Resources to ensure appropriate labour compliance. - Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems - Manage cash flow and ensure funds are available at all times. - Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks. - Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners. - Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization's plans and operating budgets. - Oversee weekly cash management and AP Department, - Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance relating to the collection process Skills and Qualifications: Education: Chartered Accountant qualification is a must. - MBA from top 10 business school preferred. - 4 years minimum experience as a Financial Controller or CFO in large ($100 million+), publicly traded corporation. - 15+ years of total accounting or finance experience - Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS reporting. - Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale IT projects for automation of financial processes. - Hands On- ERP Systems Experience. - Outstanding communication and presentation skills. - Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence - ability to motivate staff. - Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills - Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues. - Experience in managing adjunct functions such as Administration, HR. - Experience in managing multi-site businesses. - Demonstrated experience in building teams and carrying out jobs at an execution level when needed. Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity. Ability to roll up the sleeves and get into execution if the job demands. At the same time maturity to extract themselves out of day-to-day activities once team is in place. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
