Job description:

Designation: AVP - Learning & Development.

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible to work alongside various function heads and create learning content and assessments that is periodically updated and assessed within specified timelines. He / she will define the workplan, timelines and ensure execution and adherence to expectations.

Duties:

- Create and execute learning strategies and programs.

- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.

- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)

- Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings.

- Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.

- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing.

- Track budgets and negotiate contracts.

- Organize regular training material for all the departments Tech., Sales, Operations, I.T., Finance, HR, Admin, etc., on the learning portal. The training will include product, process, communication and soft skills.

- Make sure 100% attendance during the training and 95% assessment score for each department. Get re-training done till the time touches this score.

- Make sure the assessment questionnaire is updated after every round of assessment. New questionnaire should have new direct and indirect questions.

- Monitor training programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date, based on training sessions, assessment scores, feedbacks, etc.

- Schedule training sessions and organize required equipment.

Skills & qualifications:

- A bachelors degree in Training & Development, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Business, or any other related field.

- The incumbent must have 10+ years experience in the learning & development field.

- Must be highly proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Must have an ability to work both independently and in a group setting.

- Have keen attention to detail, be proactive going beyond his call of duty, have a strong sense of personal accountability, and demonstrate composure in times of uncertainty.

- Added advantage if he/she has knowledge of Moodle or other tools.
