Processing over 3B$ worth of payments annually from 700+ cities in India, the company has grown at a CAGR of 50+% over the past 3 years. Marquee brands such as such as Reliance Retail, Landmark Group, Indigo, Inox, PVR, Titan, Walmart and others.

- With marquee investors - The Titan Company, Catamaran Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and SBI-FMO, the company is well capitalized to drive its vision.

- Our vision is to reduce the cost of accessing money for everyone. This will help fuel economic growth in a small way. Our mission is to organize the flow of money to do this.

- The company has created a payments platform that helps in doing this. This platform has a unique ability to add intelligence to traditional payment channels helping businesses reduce cost and enhance sales. Four kinds of businesses get attracted to use these channels.

a) Merchants who want insights into customer payments for better control and reduced payment back-office operations.

b) Brands who want to drive preference for their products through lower cost and better controlled promotions at these merchants.

c) Financial service providers such as payment entities, wallets, employee benefit cards, who want to drive preference for their payment instrument.

d) Banks and lenders who want to get access to customers at these merchants to offer them loans at a lower risk and cost than other channels.

Innoviti is addressing these customers through two key propositions :


a) uniPAY Next - a set of consumer payment and lending services and


b) smelending.com - a set of short-term working capital services for small businesses.

Over the past two years the company has invested heavily in building up the platform. It is now ready to disrupt the business by changing the way payments platforms add value and attract and onboard customers. It would do this by:

a) Making the platform open to onboard customers easily,

b) Changing distribution models to reach 100X customers, and

c) Allowing more intelligence to the channels.

- To drive this roadmap the company is looking for talent who are ready to do what no payments platform has done before and what every payment platform will do thereafter.

Designation: Associate Vice President - Human Resources

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Chief Business Officer (CBO)

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Vice President - HR to ensure timely, effective and smooth execution of the HR strategies for the business. Ensuring that objectives laid out for the function are actively met.

Duties:

Recruitment:

The candidate will need to do the below to ensure that the team fulfils all the open positions within defined SLAs

- Plan: Identify what are the sources that we will use for filling various hiring needs and the cost outflow involved.

- Track: Use metrics to identify trends in hiring and make course corrections as and when required

- Drive: Conduct daily status meetings to understand the progress made and remove hurdles from the path of the team to enable them to successfully deliver to the targets

- He / She will need to publish metrics to all stakeholders on a periodic basis and ensure that there is proactive communication about the status of the various open positions

- Drive closure of most of the positions via internal sources especially employee referrals

- Play the role of talent gate-keeper in the organization and ensure that all candidates are evaluated from a cultural fitment perspective

- Actively work in a hands-on manner with the Head of HR regarding hiring for key positions in the organization

- Drive employer branding activities across various mediums

Training & Development:

- Work closely with leaders to understand individuals / teams and develop growth plans for each employee

- Continuously seek to identify training needs via various existing people processes

- Ensure that every employee undergoes the required training to ensure that they are productive and derive a sense of learning from the organization

- Use various software tools to ensure that the training needs of employees are met

- Measure the effectiveness of the training programs over the short term (through feedback forms) and long term (by observing the improvement in the performance of the specific employee and seeking continuous feedback from the reporting manager)

Performance Management:

- Developing and conducting trainings and workshops to ensure that all performance management systems are accurately understood and practised by the employees

- Launch and drive the quarterly goal / KPI setting process and ensure complete and timely coverage of all employees across the organization

- Ensure that timely feedback on the performance of employees is administered on a quarterly basis

- Assist the managers in making tough decisions with regard low performers. Calling them out and ensuring that they go through the Performance Improvement Programs to either shape out or move out

- Analyse and maintain performance-related dashboards for all employees and use this to calculate variable / incentives payouts to employees

- Monitor performance throughout the year Plan and execute all the stages during the Annual Appraisal process.

HR Operations:

- Create and maintain a world class onboarding process which extends beyond the standard onboarding day

- Ensure that there is a 3-months plan aligned to the onboarding process which drives alignment with the organizational culture and the enables productivity quickly

- Create policies which are important for the organization to be compliant with the prevailing labour laws and communicate them effectively across multiple modes of communication to ensure retention

- Represent the function during various audits

- Maintain and update employee information in HR files & databases and ensure periodic checks to ensure we always compliant

- Register and facilitate employee insurance details and claim reports

- Handle all queries, grievances and escalations from employees on the floor and ensure the same are resolved within committed timelines.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Define system driven workflows to ensure that the payroll (and all related payments) is error free and smooth

- Work actively with the Payroll vendor to deliver a better customer experience to the employees

- Ensure that the data shared with the finance team is accurate and error free and in sync with the data maintained by the finance team

- Recommend salary numbers to the candidates based on internal benchmarks and ensure that there is parity

Employee Engagement:

- Create and Implement Employee Outreach Programs to ensure employees at all levels relate to the organization

- Drive employee connect and engagement initiatives to continously gather floor feedback

- Create an engagement framework which ties in with the onboarding process to continuously drive up average productivity in the organization

- Analyse data and documentation to evaluate and influence employees and management regarding employee relations

- Play the role of Trusted Activist and ensure that you will always play an objective role in which you actions are grounded on what is best for the organization

Skills and Qualifications:

1. MBA with atleast 13 years of experience in which atleast 3 years as a BU HR Head / Senior Manager of a fast-growing organization

2. Effectively communicate key issues and ideas with minimal supervision across different levels of employees

3. Interact with the leadership effectively and budge them to action in the right paths.

4. Negotiate successfully with other levels of the business to ensure a win/win situation for the organization

5. Building credible relationships to create a high performing organization through sharing the right practices and information

6. Proven track record of having introduced impactful changes in HR function that had a lasting effect on the organization

7. Demonstrated ability of having taken tough decisions to strengthen organizational productivity

8. Prior experience of working in a start-up would be preferred

Personality:

- The ideal person for this role would be someone who loves the challenge of an entrepreneurial environment and is able to deal with complexity and rapid change.

- Needless to mention, the person would be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity. He/She would have a track record of delivering results consistently in uncertain environments. Excellent communication skills with an ability to manage crucial conversations with senior stakeholders.
