Innoterra - Technical Project Manager (3-10 yrs)

Technical Project Manager (TPM) is accountable for planning, tracking, execution and technical implementation of various projects. TPM should envision the project delivery in a risk free manner. TPM will work with the Product Team to understand the requirements and the priorities of the requirements and identify the best way to build a solution for the requirements. In the process the technical possibilities, workarounds, licensing requirements, estimation are identified.

- Primarily, the TPM is responsible for planning, estimation, overseeing the technical team, and tracking the deliverables on a project and in the process adhering to the technology and software development guidelines.

- Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

- Develop the technical solution for a requirement (database design, components, etc.)

- Identifying commonalities and enabling re-use

- Creating a Work Breakdown Structure of what is needed and identifying dependencies. Identify work-arounds to minimize dependencies. Identify overall timelines

- Create the necessary project intermediate deliverables and tasks to adhere to software development guidelines

- Identify critical path and risks on different dependencies

- Track project status, progress and risks, and identify alternate paths

- Provide technical assistance for technical problems faced by the development team

- Review deliverables of the development team to ensure technology guidelines are software development guidelines are followed

- Drive communication along with the product team during critical phases of the project

- Conducting post project evaluation

- Important skills and experience for a business analyst are:

- Deep understanding of relevant technology with understanding of the best practices in specific areas

- Analytical thinking and problem solving - planning, managing dependencies, identifying alternatives, design and coding best practices

- Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy

- Oral and written communication skills
