Role Description : - You will be responsible to manage HR &amp; IR for Pan India for the DAF India and partner with the Business Heads and Corporate HR team to build people capability. - Partner actively with business heads and their one/two downs to understand ongoing HR needs, anticipate and provide timely solutions on people matters. - Play a hands-on role in managing the end-to-end process of attracting and on-boarding the right talent internally / external, thereby fulfilling staffing requirements on-time. Having a hands-on understanding of the recruitment procedures and implementing them with consistency. - Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing and maintaining labour accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations - Maintains compliance with central, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. - Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law. - On-going engagement with the DAF employees to ensure effective HR support and coverage. - Develop and implement appropriate communication processes and interventions on an on-going basis. - Talent Development &amp; Deployment Facilitate in identifying, nurturing, and deploying talent effectively. - Drive active employee engagement, be seen as a go to HR implement specific engagement initiatives (targeted 1-1 discussions, pulse sessions, VoE initiatives etc.) that help achieve a highly engaged employee population across the varied businesses. As a successful candidate : - You should have hands on expertise in HR and Industrial Relations and should have managed settlements, agreements and IR issues - You will be expected to travel atleast 10 days a month - You should have worked in agricultural or manufacturing setups - You should have 15-18 years of experience in manufacturing setups - Knowledge of local language Gujarati, Marathi - Location Navsari - Gujarat
