IT Finance Senior Consultant - Apptio

1) Hands on experience with Apptio, Cloudability, Nicus, other IT Finance tools

2) Consulting / operations experience performing some or all the following tasks within IT Financial Management/ Technology Business Management

3) High to expert-level skills and experience in formulaic logic, e.g., if statements, vlookup, hlookup, pivot tables, macros, etc., in Microsoft Excel

4) Skilled at working with large data sets, quickly detecting and resolving data-related issues

5) Strong attention to detail; good communication and presentation skills

6) Support the governance and management of IT financial planning and forecasting.

7) Monitor and prepare executive level analysis of financial results on a regular basis including assessment of expected performance against established goals and actual outcomes.

8) Integrate with other areas of the business such as procurement and vendor management representing IT vendor spend as appropriate.

9) An understanding of IT costing strategies to ensure that internal customers understand total cost of ownership on IT project consumption, components of Return on Investment of IT- related projects and intercompany allocation strategy of these costs when / if appropriate.

10) Analyze the financial impact of emerging technologies (i.e. cloud, AI, robotics)

11) Drives IT cost management discipline via opportunity cost identification, continuous improvement, and methods to optimize spend and ROI.

12) Self starter with strong problem-solving skills, ability to determine proper course or methodology without significant direction or supervision.

13) Solid Program/Project Management skills, including experience interviewing client executives to gather and document business requirements, process mapping, draft scoping statements, develop project, resource, and costing plans, establish, and run governance models, and stakeholder communications.
