Category Sourcing

Responsibilities :

- End-to-end delivery of sourcing projects and category management activities for Client business stakeholders in Technology, Talent or BMC categories.

- Execution of sourcing projects in line with the Supply Chain Services policy and within the timeline as agreed with key stakeholders.

- Act as a trusted business advisor to Client stakeholders, aligning Supply Chain Services projects with the business' pipeline and providing Exceptional Customer Services while delivery both brand and quantitative value to the bottom line through cost savings, cost avoidance and forgone savings.

- Achieve value targets, while innovatively developing new cost reduction strategies to improve negotiable spend via sourcing and demand management activities; including spend consolidation and supplier rationalization.

- Ensure adherence to Client Supply Chain Services policy and processes, including collaboration with Legal (GCO), Risk Management and other Client support functions.

- Provides structured management and accurate progress reporting on all projects.

- Lead Request for Proposals (RFPs) including commercial contractual negotiations, while partnering with stakeholders and shared functions such as GCO, Risk Management and Vendor Assurance. Minimize contractual risks to Client and manage supplier relationships according to Client's Supply Chain Services and Independence policies.

- Develop strong relationships with key Client business stakeholders and report procurement progress via regular meetings.

- Solid knowledge of key suppliers and their position in the market, in addition to working through current market intelligence resources and partners to perform the latest research.

Skills :

- Strong experience with senior stakeholder management with the ability to collaboratively co-develop strategies and set and manage expectations.

- A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently

- Excellent communication and networking skills - able to effectively manage and influence stakeholders

- Ability to work in a high pace, agile environment

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively

- High level of cultural awareness and EQ

- Experience of working in a Sourcing/Procurement/Vendor Management team in a complex and global environment

- Strong influencing and networking skills as the organization relies on working in cross functional teams across borders

- Strong communication skills required; must have the ability communicate in English effectively, transparently, and timely across multiple mediums (email, voice, IM, etc.) in a global environment

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and have an appetite for challenge and change

- Provide high level of Exceptional Client Service
