Job Title: Senior Technology Architect

Job Location: Hyderabad

Job Purpose:

Provide best-fit architectural solutions technology consultation; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; implement the solutions; create technology differentiation; leverage partner technologies; participate in competency development

Responsibilities:

- Ownership of the best fit architectural solution for platform development projects

- Liaison with BAs and other stakeholders for architecture development

- Architecture reviews and presentation to stakeholders and clients

- Governance activities during development for compliance to architecture

- Lead POCs and reference architecture implementation

- Coding and Unit testing of complex modules and services when required

- Conduct Design Reviews, Code reviews and testing when required

- Issue resolution to team

- Assess Technical and schedule risks in the projects and report status to the Project Managers

- Provide Technology Leadership to the Insurance platform solution development team

- Map high level business specification to platform functionalities and develop High Level & Detailed Level design of software components

- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications

- Design efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code of platform software modules

- Conduct Design walkthrough with development team

- Assist in creation of solutions and other IP artifacts

- Provide inputs / insight into complexity of architectural requirements Reviews work breakdown structure & resources - task/activity planning, sets milestones and deliverables IN ORDER TO ensure correctness and optimal scheduling of the project

- Conduct workshops to understand the AS - IS processes/ Current System Study and identify high level process/system changes IN ORDER TO arrive at process documents, process gaps, fit-gap analysis, requirements/assessment documents that are agreeable to the customer

- Participates in client discussions to understand the problems faced by the customer and articulates the same to the internal stakeholders, define and document the problem and get customer agreement, Brings in best practices in the industry, Provide different options IN ORDER TO assist in identify & define the problem

- Arrives at possible solution alternatives that factor in gap resolution, impact on related functional/technical areas, and acceptability of the solution to the user community, technical feasibility and efficiency. IN ORDER TO assist in arriving at the final solution definition

- Interacts with vendors/alliances and understands the complimentary offering/products/IP/Solutions IN ORDER TO leverage partner technologies

What are we looking:

- Engineering graduate with 11 years of experience, OR

- MCA with 11 years of experience

Work Experience/Skills

- Web Application development with 9+ years

- Experience in at least 2 technology frameworks with J2EE with 4+ years

- Hands on experience with J2EE, SPRING, Spring MVC, REST, JASPER, ANGULAR and HIBERNATE.

- Hands on experience with JUNIT, ANT, MAVEN, HUDSON AND SVN.

- Front End development technologies with 4+ years

- Architectural and Design patterns with5+ years

- RESTful APIs, Web services with 5+ years

- Should be familiar with all Unix, Linux servers and knowledge of Software and Hardware installation.

- Experience with configuration and deployment on the Web/Application servers.

- Hands on experience with application performance tuning and related tools.

- Insurance domain 2+ years would be desired

- Experience in working on Insurance administration products/platforms would be great advantage.

- Knowledge of Angular2, Mongo DB, Micro services and Big data is a plus.
