Operations Analytics is a recently established Practice at Infosys BPM and one of the growing service lines in the company. The Practice:

- Drive business metrics that add to the top-line and / or profitability for your business

- Develop Descriptive (reporting) through to Prescriptive Analytics, based on your company's need

- Consolidate data across functional silos, standardize, analyze and visualize to support your decision-making

- We apply next-gen technology to all parts of the analytics lifecycle from data extraction to visualization & analysis

Role - Analytics Solution Design Expert

Business Unit - BPM Analytics

Job Responsibilities -

- Diagnosing supply chain/sourcing & procurement business problems with limited data, applying domain expertise and building relevant solution constructs

- The ability to articulate value to customers through hybrid analytics, domain and technology solutions that are scalable and incorporate current and future trends

- Hands on experience providing strong analytics based solutions focusing on (but not limited to) Sourcing and Procurement, supply & demand planning, Inventory & Network Optimization, warranty & Logistics

- Extensive experience in delivering analytics projects specifically in the above mentioned domain

- Adept at independently leading pursuits and RFx responses. Gravitas to provide analytics thought leadership in multi-tower deals

- Strategizing and working with technology, IT and commercial teams to arrive at solution construct keeping customer priorities in mind

- Tangibly contribute to practice development by publishing whitepapers, POVs, participation in thought leadership forums and workshops

- Track and report engagement effectiveness metrics and build appropriate enhancements to bring in accountability and a performance management culture

- Build and take ownership of Supply Chain/Procurement case study/best practices library

- Building case studies along with delivery teams capturing business problems and delivered solution impact on client's business metrics and KPIs

- Collaborate as a key member of the solution team supporting sales teams to represent the solution offering to the client and other internal teams

- Consult with clients to identify upstream / downstream opportunities to embed reporting & analytics services leading to quantifiable increase in annuity book of business for the Analytics practice

Work Experience -

- 8-12 years- experience in the Sourcing & Procurement, supply & demand planning, Inventory & Network Optimization, warranty & Logistics domain

- At least 2-5 years- experience in front-line sales consulting, crafting solutions and delivering presentations to management teams

- Needs to have exposure to building data models, basic statistical concepts and analyzing data & interpreting results

Education

- Post Graduate or MBA (preferred) from Tier 1 institutions with graduation in Engineering / Mathematics / Operations Research / Science

Must have Skills

- Excellent Data analysis and interpretation skills - proven skills in Excel modeling & analysis

- Strong story-telling skills to deliver recommendations from data analysis - proven skills in PowerPoint, in a business-case presentation context

- Ability to initiate conversations with senior stakeholders on topics around benchmarking, latest trends in the industry, maturity roadmaps etc.

- Ability to identify / define problem statements. Storyboard a solution response and write / develop solutions for clients

- Fluent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills,

- Self-motivated and takes ownership and Project management skills
