Fair understanding of the IT industry landscape (including competition), macroeconomics, markets (vertical, geography, services, clients), business models, talent pools, key processes such as sales, delivery, pre-sales, finance, operations, marketing and branding. - Operations and Recruitment Lead is a key part of a management team and oversees high level duties, such as attracting talent from top premier global universities, analyze and improve processes to ensure productivity, quality and efficiency for the Academia function. The employee will be responsible for - - Envisioning operations strategy and managing the full range of processes of Infosys Flagship Global Internship Program, InStep. Thereby providing a seamless ecosystem for the various stakeholders such as project mentors, international interns, academic partners and other business enabling functions. - Overall this role enables smooth running of the program by optimizing all the key processes. As InStep directly reports to the top leadership at Infosys, this role is high on visibility as well as responsibility. Intern Onboarding (Skills required: Diligence, Multi-tasking, Empathy and Cultural Rationalism) a. Complete view of the pre-arrival activities such as Visa regimes, Travel coordination, FAQs and more b. Post-arrival activities such as Commute management, Accomodation, FRRO, Visa and Airfare Reimbursements, Stipend framework and more 2. Collateral Management from designing to shipping (Skills required: Designing formats and Content creation) 3. Website and Intranet management which includes working with Information security and computer divisions followed by closing documentation (Skills required: Coordination and Communication) 4. InStep vendor management for best pricing, quality and output (Skills required: Negotiation) 5. Research, Analysis and Intelligence to ensure Infosys InStep scales as the best internship worldwide (Skills required: Secondary and Primary research) 6. Work with Infosys CXOs for various aspects of the program, mainly with the office of the Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Marketing (Skills required: Conversational skills and Ability to work with leadership) 7. Support the full-time recruitment team in India and in 7 countries overseas (Skills required: working in multi-cultural teams and coordination) 8. Support the Manager - Global Academic Relations to achieve pipeline growth and in execution of faculty exchanges, co-creation of knowledge assets and intellectual property and research collaborations and track progress of these three activities to gain an understanding of high impact and high value activities. S/he will create competitor templates, research and analyze options to present market intelligence data to Manager - GAR. 9. Influencer Management: Implement specific brand function with specific influencers of GAR internally, in DCs, Geos, and universities to build awareness and engagement for the brand. 10. Recruitment: S/he will be responsible for handling the entire gamut of recruitment, right from sourcing profiles, screening the eligible applicants, placing them in the required/appropriate projects. The person should have a flair for technology innovation in order to solicit the projects and then giving them to the right candidates. 11. Creating budget models for the academia function in liaison with the Head of Global Academic Relations 12. Experience building for academia function to create brand presence for internal and external stake holders. The role requires someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 13. The Operations Manager will be working closely with the Global Immigrations team and AIESEC to understand the compliances and visa regulation framework across geographies in the world 14. The operations manager will be fully responsible for managing all the operations activities, ensure all interns have a wonderful experience, and be the brand ambassador for the program
