Summary of Profile:

The essential responsibility of the Sr. Information Analyst / Information Analyst is to Report on the key metrics and performance indicators for management & business unit within loan servicing.


Position: Sr. Information Analyst / Information Analyst

The essential responsibility of the Information Analyst is to create scheduled management reports and provide ad-hoc analysis on key performance indicators. Additionally, create new reports in discussion with business units and automate them.

To accomplish this, the Information Analyst must:

- Analyze and report on performance metrics and trends for the loan servicing business.

- ntroduction of new reports that aid in strategic business decision making.

- Enhancements and automation to the existing reports.

Summary of essential job function:

- Understand the mortgage servicing business in detail, and prepare scheduled/adhoc reports around key performance metrics like delinquency, prepayments, advances etc.

- Understand the data behind various business units like Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Special Servicing, Legal, Real Estate Owned and Cashiering.

- Assist in ad-hoc data analysis requests presenting various aspects of Loan servicing business to the management.

- Prepare report documentation detailing the purpose, data tables used, variables used and assumptions made.

- Assist in other ad-hoc report generation and automation

Minimum Requirements:
- Total work-experience of 2+ years.

- At least 1 year of experience in Financial Services industry, preferably Mortgage Servicing.

- Proficient in the use of SQL, Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Graduate /Post Graduate degree in Business/Accounting/ Finance/Economics/Statistics/ Mathematics/Engineering.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
