2. Get into cadence with your team to find out if they encountered any issues and if they are on path to achieve targets

3. Pitching relevant companies and jobs to candidate and get his/her preferences and update information.

4. Finding talented techies and convincing them to take part in BigShyft Talent Counselor program

5. Getting feedback on how the interaction with the hiring panel went

6. Convincing the candidate to take up an offer

7. Helping the candidate prepare for an interview

1. How is this different from the role of a recruiter in a typical agency?

(A) In traditional agencies, the recruiter will be sourcing for a mandate. In BigShyft talent counselor program, the counselor is responsible for the candidate and focus on placing the candidate (and not on closing the mandate)

2. What type of roles do you need to source for, as a counselor?

(A) Candidates in tech roles (Frontend, Backend, Full Stack etc.) who are a fit for product/internet companies, with experience range of (2 - 12 yrs).

3. Is this a team management role? If so, how big is the team to be managed?

(A) This is a management (60%) + IC (40%) role. The current team size is 5 and will scale up to 20 in the next quarter.
