Job description :

This role will set up regular analyses & reports, assist in new projects, initiatives and additionally provide ad-hoc deep dives to support business needs. This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys getting into the details of data and using information to provide meaningful insights to the business.

Responsibilities :

- Support monthly and quarterly business review by providing meaningful insights and analytics by proactively setting up appropriate reports, views and analytic frameworks

- Support and set-up new analyses / approaches / metrics important and relevant for business as market and business evolves and new products are launched

- Partner with other stakeholders such as sales, product team, ERP/Tech team and finance to ensure data provided serves the appropriate purposes, within constraints of systems and availability of information

- Support in new projects / initiatives by providing meaningful data / metrics important to generate business insights and identification of potential opportunities to aid in the growth of business

- Simplify, automate and standardize existing reports in excel, power pivots and power BI

Requisite Skills and Experience :

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in business analytics/insights or reporting roles

- Degree in business, computer engineering or math

- Attention to detail and quality to ensure accuracy of reports and analyses

- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to extract key business insights through data analysis

- Ability to convert a business problem into data and ability to use data to extract key business insights required

- Strong knowledge and experience working with BI tools, complex SQL queries, and data structures is required

- Working knowledge of basic to intermediate level for excel and comfort to learn required

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
