About the role:

As a Content Strategist, you will leverage Champions to generate high-quality content that is helpful for the target audience. You will manage the content stack and devise strategies for content creation and distribution for this novel initiative.

Profile Description and Responsibilities:

- Leading a team of content writers

- Manage freelancers and content agencies for content generation

- Set up and manage content calendar to deliver quality content on time

- Distribution of content on multiple social channels

- Set up and manage a fair process of evaluating performance of content writers in your team

- Be the custodian of quality for every piece of content on BigShyft.com & BigShyft.com/Champions

- Creating relevant questions for interviewing Champions

- Conducting onboarding interview with Champions

- Working with Operations team to get video content from Champions

- Working with video editor to identify the video strategy

- Keep track of what content is working and what is not, but looking at different analytical tools to monitor traffic, engagement and conversions

- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content

- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies

- Tracking industry trends and developing new story ideas for monthly content delivery

Ideal Candidate:

- 5+ years of work experience of relevant experience in content writing, preferably for a digital-first organisation

- 2+ years of experience in managing a team of content writers

- Comfortable creating content relevant to Software Engineers

- Strong content writing, editing, and proofreading skills

- Prior experience in writing & editing for the web

- Enthusiasm to research and learn even if the topics are boring
