Experience required: 3-5 years in sell-side or buy side. Should have worked on multiple sectors. Should have the knack of quickly understanding new sectors/companies. Key deliverable would be to generate new investment ideas through a combination of: 1) Creating and running screeners (capitaline or equivalent software) based on fundamental inputs. Subsequently, going through the output of the screeners to create a bucket list of potential investment opportunities based on preliminary fundamental analysis. Doing detailed analysis on the bucket list (talking to sell-side analysts, company mgmts, going through call transcripts) to zero in on investible ideas which would be presented to the investment committee. 2) Doing fundamental research on a funnel of ideas coming from sell-side, friend circle or general reading. 3) Taking research further/deeper on some of the more liquid ideas with the help of external consultants/industry specialists to gain deep insights into a company so as to be able to deploy larger sums of money on a particular idea. Performance will be evaluated at the year-end based on:&nbsp; 1) Number of ideas generated&nbsp; 2) Performance of those ideas&nbsp; 3) Depth of analysis in ideas generated.
