Manager- Ecommerce Inventory Planning
The Ecommerce Inventory Planner will be responsible for the management and execution of optimal inventory levels for the e-commerce distribution centers. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) timely replenishment of saleable and non-saleable products, shipment analysis, and order processing.
Job Responsibilities :
- Order Management & Execution
- Review shipment forecast based on the latest estimate
- Perform Sales & Inventory analysis and meet business plan numbers
- Analyze recommended order quantity and place optimal amount for each online distribution center for each product SKUs
- Perform detailed review of out of stocks calculate and forecast lost opportunities due to Out of Stock
- Place Opening Order for new products
- Review and Analyze fill rates and customer service level
- Prep/attend weekly Planning meetings with the brand team
- Provide demand planning order projections
- Set up virtual SKUs and provide online distribution center direction on receipts
- Provide direction on kitting / SKU combinations to boost sales and reduce inventory levels
- Follow up with distribution center on shortages
- Propose Sales and liquidation of Inventory for overstock items
- Collaborate closely with marketing and pricing teams to manage optimum Inventory levels
- Collaboration with E-commerce and Customer Service
- Liaise between e-commerce and other customer service groups
- Follow up and communicate ETA on inventory status and backorders
- Communicate with catalog for new SKU creation, updation of Inventory levels and products descriptions
- Ensure inventory thresholds are set up correctly
- Inform the web catalog department about products that need to be cataloged & photographed
- Update prices and reprint barcodes when prices change and ensure it is applied to appropriate products in all locations.
- Maintain accurate product data in POS. Identify and fix informational and inventory discrepancies.
- Research missing items, and take appropriate action.
- Schedule, organize and execute bi-annual inventory
- Assist with other departments (shipping, warehouse, returns)
- Report discrepancies on incoming shipments to buyer & RA specialist
- Manage relationships with delivery drivers
- Inventory Management
- Review and analyze inventory
- Perform stock transfers as needed
- Review Inventory discrepancy report
- Plan, Manage, Communicate, and Execute Returns of Goods on discontinued items, wrongly ordered items or damaged items
- Project RTVs and work with e-commerce teams and vendors on execution and transfer of stock
Other Responsibilities :
- Review launches and releases launch POs
- Send out a mix of business reports to eCommerce team
- Pull and send out backorder reports
- Compile and send out weekly receipt projections for workload planning
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong math and analytical skills
- A strong understanding of time-phased forecasting and replenishment systems
- Analyze and review large amounts of data in Excel strong communication skills
- A Self-starter and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of inventory models and metrics
- Retail planning and inventory management needs
- Have experience with Demand Management software
