This position will be responsible for a vertical in Accounts Payable Operations including: training and employee development, managing group workload and establishing priorities, ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed, managing annual performance targets and operating budget, creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics. This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving outstanding issues with internal and external business partners. Key skills: Excellent in MS Excel, Proficient in Tally Role and responsibilities: - Creating and managing vendor master and ensuring no duplicity - Weekly dashboard schedule for vendor advance and corresponding payables adjustment reconciliation, Net payments and Funds required to be made along with their ageing - Setting up vendor on-boarding process - Managing the vendor invoices and their timely, accurate processing - Periodically maintaining and evaluating the credit limits for respective vendor and revising the limits if required, with prior approvals - Drive development and expansion of systems and processes required to execute on-time payments to vendors - Maintain fortnightly communications and metrics- reporting with Finance Controller and Manager Finance highlighting the new vendors on-boarded, nature of services/goods provided, and new/revised credit limits - Help with yearly Audit and PBCs - Adhering to policies related to AP and come up with turbo ideas to improve it further - Developing, modifying and maintaining the operational and design effectiveness of internal controls - Partnering with Internal Audit for process advancement - Proactively solving vendor issues and heading off negative service trends.
