We have an Excellent opportunity For - Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) - Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Industry Research Specialist- with CMM Level5 - Bangalore.

Qualification: MBA from reputed Institute.

Experience : 6.5 to 12 years

Location : Bangalore.

Job Description:

[Exp Secondary Research in Heavy Machine Engineering, Candidate should be from Aerospace or defence background. Candidate min.salary must be 10-11 LPA.]

New business opportunities: helping Accenture understand markets and companies and identifying ways in which we can help clients become high-performance businesses and governments. A typical analysis might be an in-depth company profile to look at a company's financial and strategic health or an overview of a sector of the market to identify trends or assess the impact of regulation, mergers and other landmark events.

Working directly with clients: a portion of our research is on client engagements where we work alongside our colleagues from the practice to provide research and industry expertise. Typical work with our clients might be to benchmark a capability or function; to provide best practice in an industry or project future trends and their likely impact on the business.

Developing points of view: Accenture is seeking to continue to build on its thought leadership programme, this requires original, cutting-edge points of view to use with clients, the media and in conferences. This position will require someone who to research, create and write those viewpoints, often in conjunction with members of the practice. Many of our projects are published and quoted in the press.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Perform secondary research focusing on EHT/ A&D topics utilizing a number of sources, internal and external, paper and electronic, including web-based and online databases.

- Retrieves, synthesizes, packages and presents secondary research findings according to the needs of the customer.

- Support Accenture clients and business development teams with various pieces of analysis: company profiles, Industry Newsletters on a monthly or quarterly basis, market segment profiles, analysis of Accenture competitors, biographic profiles, issue-based research, data-driven research, financial analysis, business capability-related research (e.g. human performance, sales & marketing, outsourcing, etc.).

- Provide support to consultants in the use of internal and external resources, information sources and services.

- Consistently deliver high quality work within budget and on time.

- Identify new sources of relevant content and contribute to evaluations of external content for acquisition.

- Development of knowledge in major EHT/A&D industry segments (business acumen, key players, overall market trends) and technologies (overall information technology and networks trends) as well as deep understanding of relevant specialty sources.

- Actively participate in general secondary research responsibilities e.g. participating in Accenture Research workgroups at local, regional or global level etc.

Reports to: EHT/A&D Research Manager in U.S./Europe/South Africa or India, with a local reporting link.

Supervises: At first not applicable, but based on personal competencies demonstrated, there could be a role supervising analyst(s) in the team.

External Relationships: Awareness of external Subject Matter Experts, information providers/brokers/sources is required, and membership in a professional society would be a plus.
