What is the purpose of this role? Why does it exist?
This role is accountable for bridging the gap between technology and business. A business consultant ensures that the requirements of the business are understood, and captured so that the technology teams understand & build as per the business needs. For our customers a business consultant enables an understanding and appreciation of why the technology was developed in a certain way and helps them understand and validate the solution. Business consultants are the babel shes of our world.
Experience & Skills :
OVERALL EXPERIENCE :
- 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis
- Experience in working across levels in the Customer Organization
- Experience in the IT Products Industry preferable;
- Background of business analysis work in BFSI and customer-facing role FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Expert in interacting with customer business teams and partners to understand the business scope, processes & requirements
- Skilled at clearly articulating and detailing project scope; requirements gathering and elicitation
- Ability to collaborate with customers and internal Lumiq teams to estimate effort and communicate status
- Managing the delivery and review of business cases, scope and requirements documents, Stakeholder management
- Expert at handling and managing user stories documentation, test plans, and rollout communications
- Knack for user centric design, understanding of UI/UX
- Hand on knowledge with wireframing and diagramming tools like draw.io, visio; expert at presentation, spreadsheets, documents.
- Exposure to AI/ML, Big Data technologies
- Exposure to Techno-commercial knowledge LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Experience in working and aligning with the Development Team, Product Team and Business Teams.
- Ability to create an impact in the Customer's Organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION - MBA /BE/BTech preferable
Roles and Responsibilities :
Major R&R of this role are:
- Eliciting and documenting scope, requirements, UI/UX design
- Process understanding, AS-IS, To-Be and Gap Analysis - ability to map requirements to product features, congurations and identify customisations
- Maintain up to date knowledge base and documentation of new developments on products and new features
- Supporting the internal validations and user acceptance testing process
- Pre-emption and resolution of issues, working with the customer and the Delivery teams to manage escalations
- Building of a reputation of easiest to work with- with each customer
- Communicate clearly and effectively with development teams and monitor progress
- Ideation / design / co-creation of innovative solutions.
