Profile- Head Transformer Design
Qualification- B.Tech / M.Tech- Mechanical, Electrical
Experience - Minimum 10 years work experience in electrical design of power transformers in power transformer manufacturing company, of which 5 years at least as a Design.
Location- Jaipur (Raj.)
Job Responsibilities :
1) Product design in power transformers (33/11KV to 10 MVA), single and three phase transformers between 5 kVA and 2500 kVA
2) Manage the department targets, budget and KPI's as per company's budget, both for offers and orders
3) Ensure high quality and competitive designs
4) Design of both air cooled and encapsulated transformer products
5) Interact with licensor for technical clarifications and support
6) Collaborate with other departments to establish product concepts, perform design verifications, carry ideas through final product design and respond quickly to design change requests
7) Develop and implement design improvements to enhance or cost reduce existing dry type transformer designs using various standards
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent managerial, social and interpersonal skills (Multi-discipline & multi-cultural environment)
- In-depth knowledge about the electrical, mechanical and control design of power transformers.
- In-depth knowledge about the materials used in power transformers
- Ability to use design software and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in English language is mandatory
