What does the position offer? - This position will entail Networking and building partnerships with top level officials from the Government and private sector. - Handhold them through the entire investment lifecycle. - Build understanding of the state's socio-economic, political and business landscape including state's focus sectors, Industrial Policy, all relevant sectoral policies and schemes, land banks, industrial clusters and other industrial areas being promoted by the state, key companies, cost of doing business, etc. - Liaise with State Government and local authorities to handhold foreign and domestic investment projects (understand the company and proposed project profile, facilitate location assessment and undertake site-visits, interface with relevant Government departments to fast track the setting up of business etc.) - Support on various capacity building projects designed and being executed by Guidance and help us in enhancing the investment ecosystem of the state. - To develop the Go-to-Investor marketing strategies for Guidance in each focus sector and proactively market potential projects to investors and facilitate their approval by the respective authorities - Establish relationships with the relevant stakeholders in the Government and other promoting agencies and oversee project management to ensure achievement of targets - Coordinating with various departments of the state and central government, Diplomatic Missions, Trade Bodies/Industrial and sectoral chambers and associations on a regular basis on a regular basis - Inbound & Outbound delegations - end to end coordination, facilitations & follow ups. - This position will also entail policy recommendation and implementation of project. Preferred Experience & Qualification: - Masters/Management degree from a premier institute is preferable - Relevant Work Experience: 3-5 Years, preferably in the field of Investment Promotion, Facilitation, regulatory framework, project management and execution or Ease of Doing Business, Research & Policy Advocacy. - Experience in managing projects for governments, private sectors, multilateral clients and industry associations. - Strong business communication & etiquettes, networking skills, and stakeholder management
