Job Requirements :

- Work with the top management team of the bank on design and deployment of short-term and long-term strategic initiatives for corporate and investment banking group

- Define strategy for given business problems based on internal and external data and market benchmarking. Focus is on approaching business problems basis first principles and by challenging prevalent assumptions as well as by looking at best in class benchmarks across relevant industries

- Some of the examples of types of business problems include: increasing market share in specific segments / new market entry / new product or segment launch / ramp up of existing business / productivity improvement / client experience improvement / risk management, etc

- Define strategic blueprint / action agenda and key initiatives to be undertaken by bringing key insights to the table for the given business problem

- End to end Program Management of key initiatives identified with focus on driving end results along with cross functional stakeholders

- Partner with different functions within the organization - sales, operations, human resources, technology, risk, compliance, etc in deployment of the business initiatives identified and driving impact

- Responsible for driving the P&L impact / metrics as agreed along with respective business / functional heads

- Support in long term strategic planning, annual business planning and business reviews.

- Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability and detail orientation

- Ability to work with cross functional top management stakeholders and drive consensus to push action agenda

- Strong execution ability and ability to drive results

- Strong communication skills.

Education / Experience Required :

- MBA from Tier 1 B-School - preferably IIMs / ISB

- At least 3-4 years of experience in strategy or consulting in top tier management consulting firms with hands on experience of working on projects in corporate or investment banking & risk management

OR

- At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role in corporate & investment banking
