IndusInd Bank - Manager - Government Business - Solution Delivery Group (6-10 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conceptualize and implement Business Solutions for Government Business to standardize operations and service activities. Implement defined processes and ensure that systems are in place to measure implementation
- Understand and assemble the requirements from Government Business and Product teams
- Responsible for implementation of mandates sourced by GBG Business Teams
- Interact with multiple cross functional teams and be responsible for end to end delivery including Requirements, Solution Design, Implementation, UAT and Project Rollout
- Implementation of requirements from system perspective through discussions and co-ordination with internal IT teams and Vendors for development and testing
- Manage the business process automation projects and create business process documents for various Government Social Security/Pension Schemes, Central and State Government mandates, municipal corporations for different types of tax collection which include walk-in payments in branches or designated places, Online payments through Bank's Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, online payment gateway, ATMs and Phone Banking
- Coordinate with Government Banking Group for project implementation, develop processes, offer existing products, design new products and leverage the Bank's retail network to offer various solutions
- Provide training to GBG Sales teams on various products/solutions
- Expertise in Project Management, Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering in a Banking or Financial Service Industry
- Prior implementation experience in self service delivery channels including Phone Banking, ATM, Cards and Internet is preferred
Job Skills
- MBA with technical background
- 6 to 9 years industry experience in Banking or Financial Services Industry in project/systems implementation roles
- Ability to communicate technical matters at both a technical and management level
Person Requirements: Key Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Broad understanding of Government business and/or Cash Management Systems, the business needs and systems of that area, and how they make up the business and systems environment
- Good communication, networking and relationship skills with ability to forge relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of debit/prepaid/credit card, Payment/Collections Systems, ATM Internet and mobile payments would be an advantage
