Lead - Retail Assets Analytics ( Small Ticket Individual Lending)


Role Details:

The individual will work closely with the top management of the Bank in creating and refining credit underwriting models for lending of small ticket products such as Purhcase finance etc, EMI on Debit Card, Small ticket Personal Loans etc.

Overall Job Description:

- Drive the risk ranking model creation for retail lending products such as Purchase Finance, EMI on debit card, Small ticket Personal Loans, etc.

- Continuous assessment of model response on early risk indicators such as first payment default and lagged delinquency at 3 month etc through automated dashboards for continuous refinement in model performance.

- Evaluate partnerships in small ticket lending with other Fintechs to identify the segments which are suitable from a risk-reward point of view and are within the acceptable risk appetite of the bank; regular portfolio monitoring of portfolio built under partnership lending.

- Identification of new opportunities in small ticket lending emerging in the market and design of our underwriting models for such products.

Desired Behavioral / Functional Traits:

- Ability to pick-up new skills and think from first principles to solve Business problems using Data analysis

- Experience in use of software such as SAS with hands-on ability to do statistical modelling

- Experience in Python for ML model development will be a big plus

EDUCATION:

Essential requirement:

- Post Graduation / B.Tech/B.E. from Tier 1 College in Engineering or Statistics/Mathematics.

 Preferred requirement: Post graduation in Statistics/Mathematics

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Essential requirement : 4-5 years of Work Experience.

Preferred : Analytics team in asset vertical of Banks/NBFCs especially in the domain of purchase financing, consumer durable financing or small ticket Personal Loans.
