Job title: Business Manager - MD's Office.

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai.

BU/Function : MD's Office.

Reports to: Head - Business Strategy.

Role Details :

The business Manager will be part of MD's office at IndusInd Bank. The individual will work closely with MD & CEO in assisting MD in managing regulatory audits/compliance's, representations to regulatory bodies, Board and shareholders; as well as in liaising with various units within the organization on various initiatives of importance.

Overall Job Description :

- Work closely with MD & CEO to oversee projects of high importance.

- Assist the MD in managing regulatory audits/compliance, representations to regulatory bodies, Board of Directors. investor/shareholder meetings, etc.

- Be part of reviews of key business units and functions along with MD & CEO and help crystalize and drive action agenda with each of the business / functional units.

- Work with stakeholders within the Bank as well as external stakeholders to drive actionable and manage key initiatives.

- Bring external insights basic scan of the macro-economic environment, bench-marking of competitive landscape and developments in the industry.

EDUCATION :

Essential requirement: CA / MBA from Tier 1 B School.

WORK EXPERIENCE :

Essential requirement: Tier 1 MBA/ CA with at-least 5-6 yrs of professional experience and at-least 2-3 years of experience in banking and financial services (either in a similar role or as a consultant).

Any specific skills required:

- Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability, detail orientation & interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, Power point).

Desired Behavioural / Functional Traits:-

- Exposure to strategic customer communication will be an added advantage.

- Ability to Work/engage with Senior Business leaders. Ability to engage with top management stakeholders on behalf of MD & CEO.
