Urgently Looking for Manager- Operations- Last Mile Delivery
Indus Group is looking for a talented, driven and experienced manager to work on building end-to-end operations for last mile delivery logistics. The individual will be responsible for recruiting, strategizing, executing, managing & operating the last mile delivery vertical, along with growth plans. The ideal candidate would be an ambitious go-getter with the desire to deliver a best- in- class experience in last mile delivery of ecommerce segment (3 PL partner set up).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Defining, building and executing last mile delivery operations along with all the processes.
- Good understanding of day to day operations of 3PL logistics / city logistics / last mile operations in e-commerce is a must.
- Managing all aspects of the last mile fleet including sourcing, contracting & required documentation.
- Headcount & Infrastructure Planning; Develop last mile delivery infrastructure Basis SLA with clients.
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
- Relationship building with existing clients to explore additional business opportunities.
- Knowledge of relevant software to perform the role
- Coordinate with Finance, HR, Legal and Other teams as relevant to Operations.
- Role/KPI clarity to team members and handholding them for efficient execution and delivery.
- Analysis of the data to identify bottlenecks and take corrective measures.
- Working as a part of project teams to plan and implement new initiatives
- Humility, good listener and a people's person.
- Responsible for timely billing and follow-ups with clients for payments due.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience:
- Graduation / Post graduation with Min. 6-7 years of experience in handling similar position and Functional area (Strong foundation in 3 PL operations setup will be an added advantage).
- Should possess Problem solving skills, Process -oriented, handling stressful /complicated situations with a high level of attention to detail is must.
- Dynamic and able to work in a fast paced environment will be preferable.
