Indkal - Legal Manager - CS/LLB/LLM (5-8 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Legal Manager who would be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice to the management and other departments of the company. You will report to the Legal Head.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Draft, review and provide legal advice on MOU, Agreements, Contracts, Internal Policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory requirements.

- Drafting and vetting of legal notices, responding properly to various legal notices received by the company.

- Review ongoing cases, advice management, briefing external counsels and law firms accordingly.

- To ensure that legal risks of the company have been identified, appropriate course of action has been taken with respect to contracts, tender documents etc.

- Review tender documents, provide legal advice, check documents etc.

- Advise the management on various legal, regulatory issues.

- Preparing and checking documents for submission to various government departments and getting approval of appropriate managers within the company.

- Following up with various government departments to get necessary information, forms, process, notifications, GO etc. as needed.

- Get approvals, permits, sanctions from various departments.

- Regular statutory filings with various departments.

- Accompanying various people from the company to facilitate work at various departments.

- Must have good people and management skills.

- Must work well with people across different teams in the company, of various skills and age groups.

- Flexible attitude to work on different legal matters as assigned by the company.



- Company Secretary qualification is desirable, not mandatory.

Language: Must be fluent in reading/writing/speaking in English, Hindi and local languages.

Travel: Must be willing and able to travel as required for this position.
