Job Specification:

- Relevant HR PGD / Post Graduate Degree from a reputed institute

- 5+ years of post-Qualification relevant experience in HR operations

- Has to be IT savvy with good hands-on skill in MS office, esp. MS Word, MS Excel & MS Powerpoint (Exposure to HR SAP / Oracle will be desirable)

Job Description:

The Manager – HR (Southern Region), will serve as a key member of the HR team, to support all HR initiatives and act as the HR support for the regional operations teams, for regions as will be defined from time to time.

The Manager – HR (Southern Region), will be responsible for:

- Supporting the conceptualization & design of HR strategic initiatives specific to the region s/he is supporting and help to drive the same

- Engage regularly with all regional heads, across functions & work as a member of the regional leadership team to understand business specific needs & drive people agenda.

- Support all recruitment initiatives completely & work with regional teams to define better sourcing strategies

- Drive the following strategic initiatives in the region-

- Diversity hiring & retention

- Overall retention strategies

- Any other defined from time to time

- Act as an employee champion by ensuring the following:-

- Implementation of all engagement activities

- Manage employee grievances & employee queries appropriately

- As HR Generalist for the region, deliver on the following for all managers & employees as required:

- Employee relations

- Coaching & counseling

- Performance management and appraisal support,

- Training support, including identification of needs & design / identification of appropriate programs

- Career counseling / career development

- Support communication processes within the region to ensure consistency of culture, values, and experience among employees

- Manage payroll activities including attendance, leave, payroll inputs etc.

- Manage processes like -

- Statutory compliances

- Define & support collection of relevant data for meaningful analysis

- PMS

- R&R

- Insurance

- Others as defined from time to time

- Monitor and manage the HR budget to ensure optimization of resources

- Complete responsibility for all HR documentation as require

- Provide feedback to HR leadership on critical HR issues in the region

- Be aware of and comply with his / her safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the IndiG

- SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.
