IndiaLends - Vice President - Risk & Credit (10-15 yrs)
The role will focus on creating, designing and implementing strategies for Credit & Risk function that supports the strategic goals of the organisation.
Role Responsibilities :
- Setting the vision and strategy for the credit risk function working in conjunction with all other senior leaders and partner banks/NBFCs
- Monitor acquisition funnel, model performance & portfolio trends to develop strategic lending and business insights
- Creation of the risk and underwriting policies, infrastructure, development and implementation of underwriting models, risk decision strategies and fraud detection.
- Ensuring that the Governance, Risk, Underwriting, Compliance and Control Frameworks of India Lends function effectively
- Oversight of collections and debt recovery
- Keep strategy in line with risk and performance appetite of the organisation
- Provide thought-leadership on improving customer-acquisition strategies, developing statistical credit models
- Ideate and launch next-generation lending products and structures that will drive the next round of innovation and disruption in the unsecured lending space
Role Requirements :
Experience :
- Overall 10+ years of experience in Credit Risk
- Extensive credit risk background in unsecured lending and/or lending in India
- Experience of developing lending models and portfolio management strategies
Knowledge :
- Strong retail product knowledge with a focus on credit cards and loans.
- Banking practices, financial markets & the country's regulatory framework.
