India Lead - Marketing - Agri Firm (8-12 yrs)
We are currently retained by a leading agri company in the country to hire their Marketing Lead (Pan India) to join them.
- This is a leadership role where the person will be responsible for all marketing initiatives related to scaling up of a new business line. Thus it will be a great opportunity for the person to leverage his/her marketing skills.
- Description of the role: The Marketing lead will be responsible for building and managing the marketing budget, planning and meeting the financial goals to meet sales volumes.
- This is a PAN India role which would require you to travel extensively and is based out of Tamil Nadu (non-negotiable).
- To fit the bill: You must have 8+ years of experience in agri input industry and B.Tech (Agriculture) or B.Sc with MBA/PGDM (Agri-Business preferred) from a top B school, is an ideal fit for this role.
Key responsibilities:
- To develop appropriate strategic Marketing Plan and to ensure it is implemented within time frame and budget limits.
- To ensure Sales Volumes are met through marketing initiatives.
- To manage the team and to ensure the team meets the region wise market share.
- To develop Customer and Marketing Intelligence System and inputs for growth strategies.
- To develop Annual Budget and Monitoring Mechanisms.
- To set up SOPs for Sales and Marketing organization
- To explore Partnership and Licensing opportunities.
Required traits:
- 8-12 years of experience of working in Agri input industry.
- Strong experience of running a marketing team for a leading Agri company.
- People Management skills.
- Effective Communication skills.
- Good Coordination skills.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Experience in Stakeholder Management.
- Experience in Customer Service.
