Client Details :
Our client is a major American Consumer durables company listed on the NASDAQ. They have multiple business divisions, product lines of which cater to retail as well as commercial customers.
Description :
Reporting to the Finance Director - Asia, the successful individual shall be responsible for:
- Accounting & controllership activities for India including Group reporting requirements
- Compliance with local statutory and tax requirements
- Maintaining and effective Controls & Compliance environment
- Managing group consolidation processes
- Managing Third Party program
- Managing internal and external audits for the region.
The role will be responsible to ensure the Company complies with US GAAP, local GAAP; local applicable governmental rules and regulations; company policy & procedures and other corporate guidelines. The incumbent will be supported by a small finance team.
Profile :
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting and reporting experience, with 3-5 years of experience as Financial Controller in a manufacturing and trading environment
- Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant;
- Considerable experience at a senior level Finance environment.
- Comfortable working in an international company in a matrix environment
