Lead - Patient Analytics
Job Description:
- Work with RWD datasets; analyze observational data (Claims, EHR / EMR, Survey) and registry datasets
- Design and conduct patient-data analyses utilizing RWD datasets
- Responsible for executing ad-hoc analyses, deep dives, statistical analyses to generate and report real-world evidence about disease, adherence, patient journeys, health service utilization and the effects of pharma products
- Design custom analyses using tools like SQL, R, Excel, Tableau, SAS, R
- Work independently to lead statistical aspects of projects with quality reviews by RWE analytics lead
- Lead the effort in processing data, developing custom analysis tools, analyzing results and creating high-quality deliverables
- Responsible for ensuring project delivery and quality
- Communicate with clients, onshore team members on regular basis
Qualifications:
- BTech / MTech / BS / MS Statistics / Public Health / Bioinformatics / Computer Science
- 5+ years of overall experience with 3+ years of relevant experience
Desired Profile:
- Experience in patient-data analytics, specifically in analyzing real world/observational data and patient registries
- Professional services/ multi-national experience/exposure to pharmaceutical sector a plus
- Experience in the design and analysis of prospective or retrospective studies and familiar with working with large RWD datasets (Optum, Truven, Flatiron, Premier etc.) focusing on anonymized patient level data
- Good understanding of basic study designs (e.g., cross sectional, parallel group)
- Data modeling experience in R/Python etc.
- Experience in Tableau a plus
- Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling and clinical trial data design/analysis would be a plus
- Experience in Project managing and client facing interactions is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of multivariable models and survival analyses; longitudinal analyses methods, a plus
- Good understanding of the clinical trial process and late phase/observational studies (e.g., Phase IV, registries, retrospective chart review, time and motion studies), Experience with Time and Motion studies a plus
- Excellent project management skills: can prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely completion
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
